MIKMA Malayalam Learning School

Mother is always unique, so is the mother-tongue as it is the major bridging component with any indigenous culture or civilization. Unless there is a total and complete re-plantation, from cradle to the grave, everyone loves to speak one's own mother-tongue irrespective of any cultural invasion and it certainly creates a special identity and a sense of fulfillment, whatever or where ever we are. In fact, forgetting the mother-tongue is the first death bell of forgetting our own mother-land, eventually everybody and everything on it, whether you wish it or not. In view of addressing the above risk of cultural and linguistic evaporation from the future generation of MIKMA families, the MIKMA committee is taking a challenging step that would help the children of all age groups to learn their mother-tongue at ease through MIKMA School.
The mission of MIKMA School is to enable each and every interested child of MIKMA family to read, write and speak Malayalam as fluently as possible with the help of a specific syllabus which has been made quite palatable and interesting for the children across all the age groups. The vision of MIKMA School is multi-dimensional. Apart from teaching Malayalam as a language and mother-tongue, the integration and assimilation of Kerala culture would be the primary focus by implementing various projects and programmes from time to time with the support of the committed teachers and the parents of MIKMA. MIKMA School should be evolved as a platform for interaction, integration and consolidation of the children and the community in general.
